J&S This whole EP just oozes classic speed metal good times!! Raw, undilluted energy that doesn't let up across the duration of the tracks. It's fantastic hearing bands that are managing to keep the classic sounds alive whilst simultaneously adding a few fresh elements in. Genuinely had a rush of nostalgia listening to this, would thoroughly recommend! Favorite track: Slash Through Hell.

nickster_riffster What can I say?! This is pure old school metal!!! It's fast, it rips, and those high pitched screams can put any nazgul to shame!!! capt_saicin This album reminds me of the tornado that tore my house down back in 81’. Only difference is when my house was blown down I used the insurance money to buy crack. That and the twister didn’t have the riffs, and Metalwülf most definitely does. Favorite track: The Wolf.

Sleeping Villager A band with the name "Metalwulf" doesn't exactly need description, so instead I'll offer my endorsement. This EP is rabble-rousing feel-good speed metal at its most energetic. the riffs are infectious as fuck, the momentum is unstoppable, and the general rough-edged charm is the cherry on top. Good stuff! Favorite track: March Of The Apocalypse.

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Both of these bands have the distinction of completely wretched vocals, some of the most disgusting you will hear. Musically I’m partial to Atra Mors, but Torver rips as well with intense blackened punk. Unholy Invocation is the weirdest black metal song I’ve ever heard, and that’s saying something. It sounds more like the theme to a cop show, or a cheesy horror film, from the 70s or early 80s. Metallurgical Fire
